Our Garden Project strives to create food stability in NC for all through a network of community food gardens that supports the growth, independence, and strength of a food chain system not reliant on corporations, government, religious institutions or exchange of money, goods or services.
We will strive to create community gardens or communities that garden in every county that will coordinate planting of high impact, nutritious food, harvest, and share resources to ensure all have access to a food source in their local communities, and in cases where a community has unmet needs the other counties will fill the gap with their excess.
